MOONSHINE CAMPGROUND.14050 Moonshine Rd. 530-288-3585. 25 sites. No showers. RV's to 28'. Private campground at the middle Yuba off of Hwy 49 about 30 minutes North from Nevada City.
SOUTH YUBA CAMPGROUND. On North Bloomfield Rd., about 45 minutes from Nevada City. BLM managed campground. First come, first serve. 16 sites, 8 of these can accommodate RV's (up to 27'). No hookups. Pit toilets. Running water. Barbecue grill, tables. Rough road.
Malakoff Diggins State Park. 50 minutes from Nevada City. Developed campsites. No hookups, no showers. Flush toilets. Swimming, hiking and fishing. RV's up to 24', max; trailer length, 18'. Call Mistix 800-444-7275. Reservations can be made no sooner than 8 weeks in advance. If Mistix tells you there are no more sites available, call the Park directly at 530-265-2740.

MARTIS LAKE CAMPGROUND open May 15-Oct 15. Twenty-five campsites are available on a first come, first serve basis at the Alpine Meadows Campground. All campsites contain a RV parking space (maximum 30'), picnic table, tent pad(s), firering and a barbecue grill. Water faucets and vault restrooms with running water are also provided. No electricity is available. Public pay telephones are available. Two campsites are universally accessible and are available for reservation by calling the park office. (530) 587-8113
